I was on a quest to find a special neckwear designer. I know our customers appreciate and cherish products that are unique, have special craftsmanship. It took me a while to find one. But I am happy to tell you that I have found the best out there, we have decided to partner with Paolo Albizzati.
What makes Paolo Albizzati so special ?
Mr. Paolo Albizzati got his start in the 1960s making ties for famous brands in Milan and working with the top fabric suppliers. Supported by his wife Valeria he decided to quit in 1970 and started his own business in the basement of his own house. The business grew. The experience, hard work and skilled hands of workers allowed the transfer to a bigger industrial space. In 1975 Alby Factory was established. All aspects of production is done inside: cut, tip making, stitching, finishing, quality control and shipping. Alby soon became one of best tie manufactures in Italy. With his flair and passion he soon achieved success. He produces ties for the most important fashion houses. Nowadays it is directed by son and daughter.
Based in the northern Italy town of Malnate, Paolo Alibizzati's heritage spans over four decades. The production takes place in the family owned factory and every item produced respects the most rigid quality requirements to make sure the end-user gets the best made product.
The selection available through Boutique Jacques has been carefully curated and manufactured exclusively for us in limited quantities. Paolo Albizzati ties and pocket squares are truly a handmade product. From the cutting of the cloth to the final stitches, every step of the process is done exactly in the same manner as it was done forty years ago - by hand.
The hand rolled blade featured on each tie offers an inimitable look that can be worn both formally as well as in a more casual setting. For this specific collection, we opted for versatile colours and patterns that will undoubtedly find a place in any wardrobe.
In addition to the ties, Paolo Albizzati also offers other options such as scarves. Soft to touch and extremely lightweight, it's the perfect piece of neckwear for warmer climates and summer months. Each design is exclusively retrieved from Paolo Albizzati’s family archive. The scarves are made in Italy and feature hand stitched edges.

Albizzati manufactures a very special Italian Shantung Silk that is a luxurious fabric known for the irregularity of the surface and the presence of precious slubs in the warp. The texture of the Tie has rich and rough texture and is highly appreciated by connoisseurs. Every tie is unique because the slubs are distributed randomly. In order to underline the beauty of this amazing fabric we make Shantung Ties Unlined and sew the finest rolls by hand.
